Working Closely With The Director, The Role Will Support And Line-Manage The Arts Team To Initiate Activities That Produce High Quality Art And Experiences Within Wales And To Grow DAC’s Ambitions Nationally And Internationally
Salary: £27,200 (£36,000 pro rota) [commensurate with skills and experience]
Hours of work: 4 days or 28 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent, following a six-month probation period
Commencement: DAC is open to a start date as directed by successful candidate, but ideally would like to have the person in post by Dec’ 2022
Location: DAC Headquarters is currently based in Cardiff. The role is flexible between office based and home depending on the needs of the organisation and the successful applicant. The successful applicant must be Wales based, or willing to be based in Wales. They must be willing to travel, nationally and on occasion, internationally.
The Purpose Of The Role Is:
To be the artistic lead for Disability Arts Cymru
To support the needs of Deaf and disabled artists, participants and audiences
To support the DAC membership and offer art form specialism advice
To devise and deliver, together with the DAC team, high quality artistic projects of national and international significance.
To support the artform officers in their project development
