Freelancers supporting freelancers Arts & Business Cymru is delighted to share the launch of Cultural Freelancers Wales, a diverse collective of cultural freelancers in Wales, which aims to strengthen the freelance voice and offer inclusive support to fellow freelancers. Cultural Freelancers Wales has evolved from the Wales Freelance Taskforce. Arts & Business Cymru, along with Race Council Cymru, Disability Arts Cymru and People Make it Work are collaborating with Cultural Freelancers Wales in their development phase and we all invite you to get involved. Cultural Freelancers Wales aim to continue their lobbying and policy work, offer support and resources for freelancers, offer development and well-being workshops, and map the freelance community. Over the next month the collective aim to build and consolidate the aims of Cultural Freelancers Wales. Freelancers are invited to join a paid session to offer thoughts, questions, and ideas to help build this new initiative for freelancers by freelancers. As freelancers working and operating in Wales, what changes would you like to see? What do you need? How can Cultural Freelancers Wales serve this? To find out more about collaborating, joining a wellbeing session or simply for more information, visit the Cultural Freelancers Wales Website, follow @CFWCymru on Twitter and visit https://www.facebook.com/CFWCymru on Facebook. This work is made possible by Arts Council Wales, Welsh Government, and the National Lottery through a Connect and Flourish Research and Development grant. We would also like to thank Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, National Theatre Wales, National Dance Company Wales, and Wales Millennium Centre.
